How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?

It has been over 35 years.

 

Describe your job history at EU.

In 1987 I started at EU as Switchboard Operator/Receptionist. I held that title until my position changed to Administrative Support when we moved to our new building known as the Customer Service Center.

 

What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?

I enjoy working with others and helping everyone that I can.

 

During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?

Working the 1994 ice storm is something I will never forget.

 

What EU tradition is your favorite and why?

My favorite tradition is the EU family picnic. It is a great day of fun, food, and fellowship.

 

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

EU is very active in the community, partnering with other businesses and organizations to indeed, make life better through the many services we provide.

 

Describe your life outside of work.

In addition to going to the beach and spending time with family and friends, I love watching Rashod Bateman, one of my favorite people in the world, play football!

 

What plans do you have for the future?

I would like to retire in a few years so I can enjoy more time visiting with my family and friends.

 

Anything else interesting you’d like to share?

Jesus loves each and everyone of us and cares what we are going through. I believe He is always with us, so we are never alone.
