For placement at the Civil Engineer I position:
Annual salary of $92,742.00 or higher depending upon experience and credentials
JOB OBJECTIVE: To perform engineering functions for Easton Utilities’ projects including planning, design and overseeing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities. This is a full-time, exempt position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have construction experience, preferably in all utility departments.

Hiring Range: $25.80/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications)
JOB OBJECTIVE: To maintain electrical equipment at Power Plants, Substations, Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wells, Solar Arrays, and other Easton Utilities Commission (EUC) facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements. NOTE: Candidates with experience with electrical system maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work under general supervision on assigned tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical equipment.
- Adhere strictly to instructions, safety protocols, and established procedures while performing all tasks.

JOB OBJECTIVE: The Safety Manager serves as an ambassador and key leader responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and continuous advancement of comprehensive safety and health programs across the organization’s diverse utility operations. These include electric power distribution, substations, generation facilities, natural gas systems, water and wastewater treatment, and telecommunications systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of experience in utility or industrial safety management (preferably in a multi-disciplined utility environment).
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards (1910 & 1926), MOSH, EPA, DOT, NESC, NFPA 70E, ANSI, and other utility-related safety regulations.
- Experience conducting training, audits, and incident investigations.

JOB OBJECTIVE: Perform operation and maintenance (O&M) tasks at the water supply, storage and treatment facilities, wastewater pumping stations, and enhanced nutrient removal (ENR) wastewater treatment facility in order to provide superior quality water and wastewater services to the customer, protect the public health and water environment, maintain the infrastructure, and comply with all State and Federal regulations. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience at a water treatment or wastewater treatment facility is a plus.
- Employee must have basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, good verbal communication skills, and ability to work well as part of a team.
- The job involves O&M of industrial equipment including but not limited to pumps and blowers, electric motors, motor control systems, mechanical screens, grinders, mixers, conveyors, mechanical drives, electronic sensors & meters, compressors, sand filters, water and wastewater tanks, sludge centrifuge and dryer, ultraviolet disinfection, chemical feed systems, valves, samplers, delicate analytical laboratory and in-situ equipment, SCADA system / computers, etc. In addition, O&M of mobile equipment (tractors, light trucks, etc.) and associated implements are required.
