Job Opening: Internet Technical Support Trainee
JOB OBJECTIVE: Easton Velocity, a division of Easton Utilities, has an immediate opening for an Internet Technical Support Representative. This person will be responsible for providing technical support to Cable TV, Internet, and Phone customers in the friendly, courteous manner to which our subscribers have become accustomed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have well developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work under continual deadlines with exceptional attention to details. Must successfully complete Jones/NCTI Customer Service course within 6 months of start date. Must successfully demonstrate the ability to verbally support cable TV, internet, and voice customers to resolve issues. Familiarity with Windows, Mac, Android, iOS operating systems, associated email clients and working knowledge of VoIP, is a plus . Must be able to efficiently perform a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to, resolving username and password problems, power cycling equipment, assisting with navigating around application menus, and troubleshooting email issues. Must be able to communicate effectively with the public and possess friendly, courteous, and helpful attitude. High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license required. Candidates must be available to work between the hours of 8:00am-9:00pm M-F and 9:00am-5:00pm Sat. This is a full time, non-exempt position.
