Ada Renshaw
Customer Service Representative II
How long have you been with Easton Utilities?
August will mark my third year with Easton Utilities.
Tell us a little bit about what your job entails.
As a CSR II, there are many responsibilities that need to be taken care of. A few of those include:
- Scheduling internet/cable installations as well as setting up new service/changing service for new/existing customers
- Customer inquiries, whether that is regarding electric, gas, water/wastewater, internet, cable, or phone service
- Equipment returns
- Cash/card/check payments
- Ensuring all customers' questions are answered and they are satisfied with their visit when they come in the office
What is your favorite part about working at EU?
Hands down, my customer service family. It’s good knowing you’re walking through the doors every day knowing your team has your back, and you have theirs too. I also really admire how much EUC gives back to the community and takes care of the employees as well, and it shows.
Is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique during your career at EU?
Earning my CSR II and joining the wellness committee. It’s very rewarding to grow within a company that wants nothing but the best for their employees, while also providing all the committees they currently offer. Not only are you making a difference in your department but being in a committee makes you more involved with employees of other departments who you may not see everyday.
What is your favorite EU tradition?
I’ve always really enjoyed the Christmas luncheon, seeing everyone in the holiday spirit with their Christmas accessories. I also enjoy volunteering in the Christmas parade every year.
How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?
Since I have been in customer service for a few years, I now know the customers. Over time I have built a relationship with quite a few of them and it’s rewarding knowing they enjoy their visits when they come in.
Describe your life outside of work.
I just purchased a home in November so that has been my biggest project at the moment. I enjoy playing tennis and reading when I have down time, and go to the gym as well.
Tell us a little bit about your family.
My parents are John and Stacey Renshaw. They are my biggest supporters, I am so grateful for them. I am the youngest of three; I have an older brother, Harrison, and an older sister, Claudia.
What plans do you have for the future?
To keep striving in customer service and be the best I can be everyday for EU and our customers.
Anything else interesting you’d like to share?
I love going to the beach and soaking up the summer sun!
