How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?

I have been with EUC for 23 years in July.

 

Describe your job history at EU.

In July of 2000 I was hired to work with Jann Bounds to insert commercials to our cable system. In 2002 I moved to be a CSR with the Cable Dept. In 2005, I became Supervisor for the Cable CSR’s and then in 2008 became team lead for our Call Center.

 

What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?

I have a great working relationship with all my co-workers. We all are very dedicated to our work and to making sure EU customer’s needs are met.

 

During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?

There have been many. Plenty of storms, whether a hurricane or a snowstorm, all of EU comes together to help keep all services on. Another key moment was when customer service became one, combining Utilities with Cable/Internet was a big transition, each one of us brought our expertise to help form one Customer Service Department.

 

What EU tradition is your favorite and why?

I love all of the traditions. When covid hit in 2020, we really missed out on our gatherings. I look forward to seeing all the other employees that I don’t get to see on a daily basis.

 

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

I am honored to be part of this organization. No matter where I am and EUC is brought up in conversation, there is nothing but wonderful things said. We have a great impact on all Easton residents and each one of us has a hand in bringing good things to this community.

 

Describe your life outside of work.

I love family gatherings; we love to camp and enjoy a lot of time out on the Choptank River.

 

Describe the members of your family and any pets.

Gerald and I have been married for 12 years (together for 18 years). We have four amazing kids, two beautiful granddaughters, one adorable grandson and one cat.

 

What plans do you have for the future?

Continue my growth with EUC.

I love to watch a good sunrise and sunset.
