Customer Service Representative II

How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?

I just celebrated 4 years of working at Easton Utilities.

Describe your job history at EU.

I have worked in the Customer Service department all four years. I enjoy assisting customers with making payments, setting up new accounts for transfers, assisting the Electric Department with service orders and meeting new residents moving to Easton. Since the pandemic I have also worked in our Call Center assisting customers with those same needs but over the phone.

What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?

I enjoy being a part of an organization that has the family feel. And assisting customers to help them understand the services they have.

During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?

I’ve had great moments at EU but one that stands out the most is assisting a customer that had a fall coming in from upstairs. I heard a thump and asked if anyone else heard it and they said no but I knew I had and went in the hall to check and saw a gentleman trying to pull himself up off the floor. I went up the steps, got behind him and lifted him up (he was twice my size). The president comes walking out of an office and said he thought I was taking the man out. We all had such a laugh.

What EU tradition is your favorite and why?

There are quite a few traditions that I enjoy and hopefully after COVID we will be able to safely do those again.

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

EU is always in the community assisting with projects by either volunteering, donating or behind the scenes making things happen.

Describe your life outside of work.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, vacationing, the beach, watching sports and spending time with family and friends. I am on the board of The Festival of Trees and I'm very active with my church.

Describe the members of your family and any pets.

I am happily married to Anthony. We have two children Marcus and Avonshae and a soon to be son in law Myles. I guess I should mention their dog Winston.

What plans do you have for the future?

Continuing my career at Easton Utilities until I decide to retire.

Anything else interesting you’d like to share?

Looking forward to our daughter’s wedding in June 2021.
