How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?

I started with Easton Utilities in October 2003. It will be my 18th year this coming October.

 

Describe your job history at EU.

I started out as an Installer and worked my way up to become a System Technician and then a Network Operations Technician.

 

What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?

I enjoy seeing the final product. For instance, when I build a new channel for our lineup, the process of installing the receiver and actually creating the channel to view is one of the highlights for me.

 

During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?

One of the key moments that stands out for me was when Easton Velocity became an all-digital system. This entailed installing a lot of new equipment that I wasn’t familiar with at the time and changing over each channel from analog to digital. This was a great learning opportunity for me.

 

What EU tradition is your favorite and why?

One of my favorite traditions is the appreciation picnic. It is nice to have something in the middle of the week to break up the weekly routine and to have lunch with co-workers you don’t see often.

 

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

One of the main impacts that EU provides to the community is the customer service. I believe it is second to none. When customers call in to Easton Utilities, they know they will always get a live person and a quick response to their issue no matter what. The environmental and community programs we participate in such as tree planting and the flags for heroes, also impacts the community in a great way.

 

Describe your life outside of work.

I keep pretty busy with projects around the house. My wife comes up with a lot of these projects and in the end, I am always glad we did them. I also spend a lot of my time with my 6 year old as well. I also enjoy a date night with my wife, sitting by the pool, hanging with friends and family and just enjoying our home.

 

Describe the members of your family and any pets.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Jamie for 7 years and have 3 children. We are very blessed to have the family we have including our parents, siblings, and friends we consider family.

 

What plans do you have for the future?

I want to be able to enjoy time with my wife and kids. I want to watch our kids grow and start their own lives and careers. Most of all, I want to just have fun with friends and family and enjoy life as much as possible.
