How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?
I started in September of 2007, this will be my 15th year with EU.
Describe your job history at EU.
I started out as a Maintenance Assistant at the Wastewater Treatment Facility, since then I have worked my way up to Superintendent of the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?
Knowing that we are doing our part to help the environment by processing the wastewater to the highest quality to help protect and conserve our waterways for future generations.
During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?
There has been several moments that stood out over the years but the most recent was when MDE recognized our WWTF for exceptional performance regarding nitrogen and phosphorous discharge concentrations and awarded additional grant funding for that year.
What EU tradition is your favorite and why?
My favorite EU tradition is the Christmas Party. We have some good food and the opportunity to socialize with people that I don’t get to see very often.
How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?
I feel that EU positively impacts the community by volunteering, assisting with events, donating, and providing outstanding utility services.
Describe your life outside of work.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have several hobbies but my favorite are hunting and fishing.
Describe the members of your family and any pets.
I have been married to my wonderful wife Jessica for 9 years and we have a beautiful daughter named Brookelynn. We have a dog, cat, and 9 chickens……I guess the chickens are considered pets now since my daughter named them all.
What plans do you have for the future?
Besides staying at EU, I want to continue to expand my knowledge in the water and wastewater industry.
