How long have you worked for Easton Utilities?

9/11/2020 was 36 yrs.

 

Describe your job history at EU.

I spent 2.5 yrs in the Distribution Department. Then I moved to the warehouse as the Storeroom Clerk, and now I'm the Purchasing & Inventory Supervisor.

 

What is your favorite part of your job and working for EU?

Working with the other employees.

 

During your service with EU, is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique?

Working the ice storm (1994) and I'm currently on my 4th warehouse.

 

What EU tradition is your favorite and why?

Turkey Drop. Everyone seems to be the most cheery during this time and it’s when you get a chance to see some of the retirees who you once worked with.

 

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

They have lots of positive impact on the community not only with the services they provide but through the many community organizations they support.

 

Describe your life outside of work.

• Avid Golfer
• Volunteer Firefighter with Cordova and Part Time Volunteer Firefighter with Easton

 

Describe the members of your family and any pets.

I'm married and have two kids (son and daughter) and two grandkids.

 

What plans do you have for the future?

Retirement in just under 4 years. Hopefully I'll be able to get a part time job with the golf course.

 

Anything else interesting you’d like to share?

I am 3rd generation Larmore to work for Easton Utilities. While working in the Distribution Department, I was able to work alongside my dad (Meter Dept.) a few times. That was pretty cool!
