Administrative Support II

How long have you been with Easton Utilities?

I have been with Easton Utilities for almost four years. This August will mark my fourth anniversary with the company.

Briefly describe your job history at EU.

I began my career at Easton Utilities in customer service as the bilingual representative, a role I held for my first couple of years. In May 2024, I transitioned into an administrative support position, where I shifted my focus to serving the internal needs of Easton Utilities employees. More recently, I have taken on additional responsibilities and become increasingly involved in human resources-related tasks.

What is your favorite part about working at EU?

My favorite part of working at Easton Utilities is the strong sense of community, it truly feels like a big family. Everyone is supportive, collaborative, and always willing to help one another. I also appreciate the many company traditions that bring us together, such as the annual employee picnic and Christmas luncheon.

Is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique during your career at EU?

One thing that has always stood out to me as unique is how approachable, kind, and supportive the employees at Easton Utilities are. From day one, I’ve felt welcomed and valued.

What is your favorite EU tradition?

My favorite tradition is the annual employee picnic. It’s a great opportunity for all employees to come together, enjoy delicious crabs, have fun, and connect outside of the work environment. It’s a refreshing break.

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

Easton Utilities positively impacts the community by consistently striving to provide reliable service at the lowest possible cost. Beyond utility services, we’re actively involved in community engagement through events like the Santa House, the Christmas Parade, and the St. Patrick’s Day Potato Race. These efforts help foster strong community connections.

Describe your life outside of work.

Outside of my full-time role at Easton Utilities, I also work part-time at the Washington Street Pub. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, relaxing with a good book, and getting out on the water, whether it’s a day at the beach or a boat ride.

Tell us a little bit about your family.

I come from a large family and am the oldest of eight siblings, I have four brothers and three sisters. I also have two nieces and a nephew who bring so much joy to our family. My boyfriend and I share our home with two fur babies who keep us on our toes: Mako, our 8-year-old Golden Retriever, and Blu, our 9-month-old Labrador.

What plans do you have for the future?

I hope to continue developing my career in the human resources field and plan to further my education by pursuing a degree in Business Administration. I'm excited to grow both professionally and personally, and to take on new opportunities that align with my long-term goals.
