Jon Mollick

Velocity Installer IV

How long have you been with Easton Utilities?

Four years

What does “a day in the life” look like?

A day in my Easton Velocity life consists of completing assigned installs and service calls, training new hire employees and working on special department projects.

What is your favorite part about working at EU?

Coming from a large company, I’d have to say my favorite part about working here is having easy access to upper management and HR, though I rarely need them. It’s nice to be able to stop and see any of them whenever I want.

Is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique during your career at EU?

A time that really stands out to me was when I was in the mentoring program and was lucky enough to have John Horner as mentor. His thought processes and knowledge were and continue to be helpful in my day to day.

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

What my team and I do at Easton Velocity is connect customers to what is important to them.

Describe your life outside of work.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, playing golf, waterfowl hunting and relaxing when possible. With 2 kids that are both involved in sports the relaxing part does not happen often, so when I get to, it’s that much more enjoyable.

What plans do you have for the future?

In the future I’m hoping to move into some form of leadership role, I’d love to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to any and all of the current and future Easton Velocity team members.
