How long have you been with Easton Utilities?

Going on 4 years in August.

 

Briefly describe your job history at EU.

I am a Water and Wastewater Operator.

 

What is your favorite part about working at EU?

How close knit of a community it is in the department and in the company.

 

Is there one key moment that stands out as significant or unique during your career at EU?

The fact that I can pick up the phone and have the CEO make time for me is huge. I have had whole conversations with both Hugh and John. That does not happen in other places.

 

What is your favorite EU tradition?

Definitely it’s the festivities for the Christmas season, the company wide lunch, the parade, just how much we come together as a company.

 

How do you feel EU positively impacts the community?

I feel that EU more positively impacts the community then any other company I have ever worked for, and I have been around.

 

Describe your life outside of work.

Hobbies, Sports, Clubs/Committees/Organizations, Church

I am a worker. I am working on my associates in Biological Science from Chesapeake Community College. I work either at home for my family, doing Uber and Lyft on the side or right here at EU. Work is my life.

 

Tell us a little bit about your family.

I have a girlfriend/fiancé (not really sure the term for non-wife wife), a stepson from her, 3.5 cats (just ended up with a kitten), and a border collie named Keira

 

What plans do you have for the future?

I don’t really plan, I take things day by day and try my best. If I end up doing good, then that is great. If I don’t, then at least I know what I don’t want.

 

Anything else interesting you’d like to share?

I love the beach. This job on the beach would be perfection.
