Licensed Food Establishment Survey

Easton Utilities operates and maintains a Sanitary Sewer Network and an Enhanced Nutrient Removal (ENR) Wastewater Treatment Facility. For these facilities to operate at maximum efficiency, protect public health, and reduce pollution in the Chesapeake Bay, the amount of fats, oils, and greases (FOG) must be significantly reduced. Also, a build-up of grease in the sewer lateral that serves your establishment could result in a blockage, overflow of sewage, and negative attention reflected upon your business.

Food service establishments are a possible producer of FOG. It is very important that staff of these businesses take steps to ensure that FOG does not reach the sanitary sewer system. Please take a moment to fill out the below survey, so we can assess to what degree your food service establishment is producing FOG. Thank you!
